Also I have a feeling that it might be the other way around in that Alibaba approaching Baidu…. Going with Alibaba might help cement its position in AI and search… Agree on e-commrce but lets be honest, Baidu is not challenging Alibaba in any meaningful way.

I don’t see Baidu trying to get Alibaba on board with this home assistant as Baidu is keeping it closed and Baidu would rather not help 1 of it’s biggest rival since Baidu is intent on entering the ecommerce market
